Webpage has incorrect phone number, you get the code enforcement office. The woman answering the phone was very unhelpful. All I asked was if singlestream recycling was available in shamokin. instead I got "we offer curbside recycling". I told her that I understood that, but singlestream takes more recyclables than the city program, and asked again if they knew if it was available in town. She said that I would have to call the trash companies. This was not an unreasonable request, as singlestream recycling has gotten very popular and city hall should be able to help new residents set it up as it keeps more trash out of the landfills. I give her a solid D as an employee.
